RESPOND TO THE PEERS BELOW GIVEN QUALITY EXPLANATION IN ONE PARAGRAPH

Heather post

When it comes to a positive patient-physician relationship trust, knowledge, communication loyalty and being vulnerable. The relationship has been defined as, “A consensual relationship in which the patient knowingly seeks the physician’s assistance and in which the physician knowingly accepts the person as a patient.” (Chipidza et al., 2015). The doctor should have knowledge on their patient and the same for the patient, they should have knowledge on the doctor they choose to see. There should be trust between the patient and the doctor while maintaining doctor patient confidentiality. Patients should feel like they can communicate their needs and wants to receive the best form of treatment. When a patient feels safe and comfortable with the physician, they are more honest and open when discuss their concerns and trusts that their physician has their best interest at heart.

When doctors have to many patients its difficult for them to sometimes give their full attention to the patient they are seeing. When the relationship between patient and doctor has poor communication, this led to misunderstandings, mistakes, lack of listening to each other, disrespect or dismissive, unreliable, incompetence and being impatient by rushing through appointments without addressing all concerns.

I believe that communication is important because to have positive relationship you must be able to communicate and be open with each other. If you cannot communicate, how can you trust the doctor and vice versa, to work together and be comfortable with each other. The second important one to me is confidentiality, by being vulnerable with the doctor you are trusting that they will maintain the doctor patient confidentiality agreement. If this is maintained the stronger and more trust the relationship has between each other.

When I moved from Maine to New Hampshire I had to switch therapist and my therapist and I had a very positive relationship, I could trust her, she understood me, great communication, just the perfect fit for me. I could just feel it. The first therapist I tried was a male here and it did not last for more than three months because I just felt like I was not being heard, felt very uncomfortable with discussing certain things with him and I felt like he could not relate to what I was going through which made me cancel appointments and end up just asking for a different person, a female. I ended up getting matched with someone that I could really connect with and felt like I was being heard. That I was able to open like my last therapist and be honest and have even started to call when I have an emergency and need a quick session. While it is still a new relationship with each meeting our relationship seems to be going in a positive direction.

Anita post

Trust involves the patient’s faith in the doctor’s competence and caring, as well as the doctor’s trust in the patient and their beliefs and reports of symptoms (Chipidza, F. E., Wallwork, R. S., & Stern, T. A., 2015). It’s a mutual respect and responsibility between the doctor and patient. However, it’s also about the doctor’s empathy, their ability to understand and share the patient’s feelings. This empathy is crucial in how the doctor approaches the patient, reassuring them and making them feel understood. Being a doctor is not easy, primarily due to the diversity of patients and their varying mental states when they come for an appointment. In my personal experience, I have been blessed with great doctors, especially one who operated on my hernia. I was in the emergency room for the fourth time ever in my life, so you can understand how nervous and sick I was.  When he came to check on me, he noticed that I was crying because the previous doctor told me that they were keeping me and might have an emergency operation. That didn’t sit well, so I started to cry. However, the surgeon was kind; he touched my forehead and took my hand to comfort me, assuring me that everything would be all right. His caring nature was so evident that I felt at peace. After the operation, he had to do his regular visits to check on my recovery and how I was healing from the operation, and he was even nicer. I noticed that he took his job with love, understanding, and care.

Conduct an environmental scan and write an assessment in which you focus on both the internal and external factors that could affect your success within your chosen industry. After an organization has completed a SWOT analysis, it will carefully monitor both the internal and external environments to detect signs of opportunities and threats that could affect current and future plans. This environmental scanning can help an organization identify trends that are most likely to affect the industry, thereby allowing the development of a strategy for change. The right information, at the right time, can determine the future of an organization.Note: Developing a strategic plan requires specific steps that need to be executed in a sequence. The assessments in this course are presented in order and should be completed in sequence.Conduct a personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. In your analysis, consider the following:                        STRENGTHS

  • What advantages do you have that others do not (skills, education, experience, certifications)?
  • What achievements are you most proud of?
  • What do you do better than anyone else?
  • What do you think others would see as your strengths?
  • Do you have special connections that others may not have?
  • What personal resources do you have available?

Be sure to consider how others see you—not just how you see yourself.              WEAKNESS

  • Are there tasks you avoid doing because you do not feel confident doing them?
  • Do you have any negative work habits (often late, disorganized, easily stressed)?
  • Do you feel confident about your skills, experience, and education?
  • Do you have any personality traits that might hold you back? For example, do you have a fear of public speaking, yet work where you are expected to conduct regular meetings?

Again, consider how others see you.
             OPPORTUNITIES

  • Do you have a network of influential contacts that can help or offer advice?
  • Is there a need in your company or industry that no one else has been able to fill?
  • Are there trends in your company that you can use to your advantage?
  • Can you offer solutions to problems within your company?

               THREATS

  • What kind of obstacles are you facing at work?
  • Are there co-workers/colleagues competing with you for positions or projects?
  • Has the nature of your job changed?
  • Does technology pose a threat to your position?
  • Do any of your weaknesses pose a threat?
  • What threats to your overall plan are there?

Once you have completed your SWOT analysis, identify strategies that you can use to capitalize on your strengths and open up opportunities, and address ways you can minimize areas of weakness and eliminate threats. Consider asking a trusted peer or friend to review your SWOT analysis and provide you with honest feedback. Analyze the feedback you receive and include that analysis in your assessment. Were there aspects of the feedback that surprised you?To successfully complete this assessment, you may need to do some research on writing a SWOT analysis. Format this assessment as a research paper following current APA guidelines for both style and citing sources, making sure that you also use correct grammar and mechanics. There is no required minimum or maximum page length; however, you should strive to be as detailed as possible in addressing each bullet point, while also being as clear and concise as possible.

Prepare a 5-8 page recommendation for intervention and adoption strategies, including metrics to track adoption.

The purpose of this assessment is to make recommendations for your client organization on its change management strategy. Your recommendation should include intervention strategies, an explanation of how to reinforce the change, and the metrics that will be used to track adoption. Remember that your CM Strategy: Recommendations for Intervention and Adoption Strategies should be complete and comprehensive so that after you leave, the client organization would know how to execute the strategy.

Review your previous assessments and the resources you have explored to help you make recommendations for your client organization. Your recommendations should result from collaboration and output from working with your client. Make sure you have solicited their input and feedback and incorporated them in your final recommendations.

 Length is 5 pages

Prepare a report that addresses the items below. Make sure you support your writing using information from your readings and research.

  • Recommend intervention strategies that align with the findings and stakeholder analysis.
    • Include intervention strategies that connect with the themes and issues from the discovery findings.
    • Explain how and why the intervention strategies will support the change. Include relevant information from your readings and research to show that the intervention is appropriate for managing the change.
  • Recommend reinforcement strategies to support adoption and behavior change.
    • Reinforcement strategies to support the adoption should be aligned with the interventions and the desired new behavior.
    • Explain how the reinforcement strategies are the appropriate ones to support the change.
  • Recommend metrics to track the adoption of the change.
    • Identify metrics that will indicate whether the intervention strategies are working or not. For example, if your project was about implementing a diversity and inclusion program, a metric could be the number of employees attending “Lunch and Learn” events, or the number of people completing a diversity and inclusion online learning course.
    • Explain how you would collect the data to gain insight into the adoption of the desired behavior change.

An environmental scan allows you to identify the trends (technical, social, political, economic, and so on), issues, and other factors that are most likely to affect a given industry, thereby helping you determine a strategy for dealing with potential changes.

The right information, at the right time, can determine the future of an organization.

Note: Developing a strategic plan requires specific steps that need to be executed in a sequence. The assessments in this course are presented in order and should be completed in sequence.

Conduct an environmental scan in which you focus on both the internal and external factors that could affect your success within your chosen industry. Include in your scan responses the following. Be sure to use the information from your SWOT analysis to explain how you will address both the internal and external issues.

  • Internal Factors: What specific things do you need to do in order to achieve the position you would like to have? In other words, what do you need to do to climb the corporate ladder in your industry?
  • External Factors: Examine the state of the current market or industry. What issues currently exist? How might these issues influence the future state of the industry? How will these issues affect your long-term and short-term goals?

To successfully complete this assessment, you may need to do some research on conducting an environmental scan. Format this assessment as a research paper following current APA guidelines for both style and citing sources, making sure that you also use correct grammar and mechanics. There is no required minimum or maximum page length; however, you should strive to be as detailed as possible in addressing each bullet point, while also being as clear and concise as possible.
